Brass Door Knobs, Door Knob Hardware, Kitchen Cabinet Knobs and more…
When you get new cabinet finishes you need to treat them in the best way possible to make them last a long time. After all, they are an investment and a way to redo the entire look of your kitchen. You don’t want to spend all that money only to have them ruined after a couple of months.
A good wood polish is the best choice for cleaning any of your wood cabinet finishes. The detergents within them clean off dirt and the emulsifiers help the wood last longer and make the body continue to look fantastic. This will add shine over all. Polishing at least every month is good for your finishes.
When spills occur on cabinets, as they often do, wipe them up immediately and then make sure to dry off the cabinet. You don’t want water stains because you didn’t dry the surface properly. Use a different sponge from the one you use for dishes or counters, you don’t want dirt and germs from them to end up on your cabinets.
Never allow oven cleaners to come into contact with wood finishes because they can ruin the finish and avoid draping damp cloth over your cabinet doors, prolonged moisture can damage them permanently.
