Brass Door Knobs, Door Knob Hardware, Kitchen Cabinet Knobs and more…
When toddlers get a bit older, they really get a grip on things. Literally. Sometimes just closing a door isn’t enough to keep a toddler out of, or safe in, a room. Toddlers can easily grip and twist a door knob and open it, or get hurt when it unexpectedly swings open. That’s why childproofing door knob hardware is important.
There are plastic slips you can put over doorknobs that make them harder for a small toddler hand to grip. Mom and dad will be able to get through just fine, but if they turn around they won’t have to worry about little Sally opening the front door and getting lost. It will also be better protection if they happen to hit their head on the knob.
Childproofing kitchen cabinet knobs are important too. You don’t want your child being able to easily open a cabinet with cleaning materials or something that could be hazardous to them inside. Most cabinets can’t be locked, so make sure you cover the knob to make it harder for them to open.
Put safety first with all your door knob hardware and you’ll be breathing a sigh of relief knowing your kids are safe.
