Cabinet Finishes Change a Kitchen

My aunt and uncle recently redid their kitchen. It’s a pretty huge space and their cabinets used to just be plain white, nothing fancy. When we went over for my little cousin’s communion and after party, we finally got to see the finished results. And it’s beautiful. They got completely new cabinet finishes in a rich, red mahogany wood with these absolutely beautiful cabinet knobs. The entire kitchen looks different. Darker, but cozier over all. And those cabinets look fantastic! Too bad they have so many I still don’t know where anything is when I go there. But it got me thinking, maybe our kitchen at home could use the same sort of make over.

We’ve been in our current house for 10 years and while back when we first redid the kitchen it looked fabulous. But now after all this time the kitchen is starting to look a little dingy. The white paint on our cabinets isn’t looking as fresh anymore. New cabinet finishes could be just the thing to tun the kitchen around and would improve the price of the house if we sell in the future. It’s really a great investment. Thanks to my aunt and uncle, I think I’m going to have to start redecorating!
