Renovate Your Kitchen With Switch Plates
Your kitchen isn’t exactly trendy. The all white appliances, the wood floors, yellow-wallpaper. It’s looked that way for twenty-five years. That’s an entire generation. Your parents could’ve lived in this kitchen when it was fashionable. I understand, I understand, you don’t have the money to redo the kitchen. That’s fine. I’m not saying you should get granite countertops and a new stove. But what I am saying is that maybe you should think about how you can improve the kitchen you already have.
Want to give your kitchen a little extra oomph? Choose some small details to change and I bet you’ll see a big difference in how your kitchen comes across. Some funky switch plates are a great idea. That way whenever someone wants to hit the lights, they’ll be reminded that they live in 2011. In fact, that little detail of the switch plates and maybe some cool new kitchen cabinet knobs (if you really want to splurge (ha!)) can make your kitchen seem like a throwback instead of a fixer-upper. The juxtaposition of older elements with new switch plates is one that makes a great impression on the fashion-observing eye. Now what do you think of that for renovation?
