Cabinet Fisnishes and Kitchen Cabinet Knobs are a Redo
There were all these choices when we decided to redo our cabinets, but the costs were daunting. We wanted to have something a little different but what exactly, we weren’t sure. So we looked into different cabinet finishes and kitchen cabinet knobs because that way we wouldn’t have to invest thousands of dollars in new teakwood. The color was a subject for debate – my husband wanted dark brown and I wanted cherry red, so we settled on a mahogany stain (that I chose) and which I must say looks pretty good with the granite counter tops we had installed a couple of years ago (redoing the kitchen all at once wasn’t for us, and that was Jamie’s freshman year of college, so factor that in…)
But the way the cabinet finishes worked out really made us feel like we had a new kitchen entirely. And these cute kitchen cabinet knobs made it seem more modern. And the best part was that we spent a fraction of what we would’ve if we had chosen entirely new cabinets. Why go through all the hassle when you can make old things look new with a couple of little changes? Since then we started entertaining again, not to show off our new kitchen, but because we’re proud it looks so good.
