Interesting Switch Plates
Last time I talked about some really interesting cabinet pulls and I thought I’d stay on that “unique” track by talking about switch plates. A lot of people never think twice about switch plates. Every switch plate I’ve ever seen in someone’s home is plain white. It’s really boring and there is no reason why you can’t have one that really make the wall pop.
One brand that the Knobbery carries is Amiens. As I searched their vast selection, this brand stood out the most. They have a beautiful collection of pewter switch plates in different sizes. As if being made out of antique pewter wasn’t interesting enough, they also have beautiful designs on them. If you flip on a switch that has these plates, you will have to do a double take.
A second brand that is hard to forget is Arabesque. If you look very closely, you can see very intricate patterns and designs on the plate. They come in antique pewter and bronze. Both are very dark shades so you will have to be selective about what room you place these in. You do not want the colors to clash. There are so many more brands and styles, so take a look at all that the Knobbery has to offer.
