Door Mats from the Knobbery
We’re going to continue on our little venture about the other wonderful products that the Knobbery sells. Their name implies door knobs, but they are so much more than brass door knobs and that’s why we love them. Today’s topic of choice is door mats. Door mats may not be the most vital item in your home, but it is the first thing a person notices before entering your threshold. The door mat’s primary function is to keep dirt out of your beautiful house. However, it’s ulterior motive is to welcome a person into your home while also revealing personality traits.
For instance, this adorable door mat of a kitten in a hammock reveals to your guest that you are a cat lover and find them wildly adorable. Hopefully, you are not allergic. This door mat on the other hand, says “Bienvenidos” which means “welcome” in Spanish. Your guest can easily deduce that the owner of the home is fluent in Spanish. Just because a door mat doesn’t have pictures on it though, doesn’t mean the home owner is unconcerned about the mat. It simply means the person prefers simplicity and function.
So keep your home tidy and clean from outside elements, but don’t forget to choose one that is warm and inviting for your guests!
